Substitution Policy: If a student fails in a core subject (such as Science, Mathematics, Social Science, or a language), they can substitute it with a passed skill-based or optional language subject for final result calculation.
Revaluation Process: CBSE has revamped its revaluation process to ensure greater transparency and fairness in assessments.
Learning Approaches: The syllabus emphasizes project-based learning, inquiry-driven education, and technology integration to make learning more engaging and effective.
Elective Choices: Students can now opt for Informatics Practices, Computer Science, or Information Technology as part of their curriculum.

Expanded Curriculum: The revised Class 12 curriculum covers seven major learning areas: Languages, Humanities, Mathematics, Sciences, Skill Subjects, General Studies, and Health & Physical Education.
Calculators in Exams: Starting from the 2025-26 session, students will be allowed to use basic, non-programmable calculators in Class 12 Accountancy exams to assist with complex calculations.
