The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has unveiled a series of transformative changes aimed at modernizing its syllabus and examination structure for the upcoming academic sessions. CBSE is introducing new skill-based electives for both Class 10 and Class 12 students. For Class 12, subjects like Land Transportation Associate, Electronics and Hardware, Physical Activity Trainer, and Design Thinking and Innovation will be added. Class 10 students will have the option to choose from subjects such as Computer Applications, Information Technology, and Artificial Intelligence.

Starting from the 2025-26 academic session, Class 10 students will have the opportunity to appear for two board exams annually—one in February and another in April.
